Forums Guidelines

This forum is intended to offer a place for Downtown Host customers to get together and help each other out with their websites. This is not intended as a form of support from Downtown Host.

All customer support requests should be filed through our trouble ticket system located off of the 'support' link at http://www.downtownhost.com

Threads and discussions must remain constructive and in good nature. Any question or situation that cannot be resolved by another board member, should be submitted through the trouble ticket system not posted on the boards.

Things you can do on the board:

- Ask for help with web related programs such as Dreamweaver, Frontpage etc.

- As for help with usage type questions related to our services such as 'how does adding subdomains work?'

- Talk about current news, current events etc.

- Answer questions/concerns of other boardmembers.

- Have a signature of up to 4 lines promoting your site or whatever else you may want to plug to other webmasters.

Things you can not do on the board:

- Harass other boardmembers verbally, through the forums, private messages, or other.

- Make blatant advertising posts on the forums.

- Sell or promote web hosting related products to other webmasters.

- Post complaints. All complaints should be directed to the Downtown Host staff through the trouble ticket system so they can be addressed in a timely manner.

- Use profanity.

The Downtown Host staff does monitor the boards to make sure they are being used correctly, and will remove inflammatory, negative, etc. posts if deemed necessary. The Downtown Host staff reserves the right to remove any post at any time at our own discretion. Any users who abuse/spam the boards will be banned, after being given a warning in most cases.

All pictures/links/images seen on or linked to by this board are believed to be public domain, and are in no way presented in a manner that would imply them to be owned or copyrighted by HR Web services.

Trolling of the boards by non customers will not be permitted.
