Creating an email account in Outlook 2003

Open Outlook 2003
 On the menu go to Tools, choose Email Accounts to open the Account Wizard.
 Choose Add a new email account, click Next
 Choose your server type as POP3, click Next
 Enter your Name
 Enter your complete email address
 Enter your Incoming mail server (POP3): (replace with your actual domain name. (Refer to your Welcome Letter for this information)
 Enter your Outgoing mail server (SMTP) (replace with your actual domain name.   (Refer to your Welcome Letter for this information)
 ( Note:  some people use their ISP server for outgoing mail.  If you will be using your ISP server for outgoing mail you will need to enter the server name  provided by your ISP (the same as used in your ISP email account)  The ISP outgoing email server name is typically somehing like "
 Enter your username.  Typically this will  your entire email address, however some servers are configured to accept only the account name (the name that comes before the @ in your email address) --  refer to your Welcome Letter for this information.
 Enter your email password.
 Check the Remember Password box if you wish Outlook to remember this information.
 Click More Settings
 On the General Tab:
   Give your Account a name, this is for your reference only.
 On the Outgoing Server tab:
   Your outgoing server likely requires authentiation.  Check your Welcome Letter for this information.
 On the Connection Tab:
  Select the type of connection you use to access the internet.
 Close the tabs window to return to the email accounts screen.
 On the Email Accounts screen click Next.
 Click Finish to complete the process. 
 To make sure everything works properly send yourself a test mail.
